Rio 2016: USWNT falls to Sweden in PKs, eliminated in QF
After playing to a 1-1 draw through regulation and extra time, the U.S. and Sweden went to a penalty shootout to decide the winner. Sweden came out on top 5-4 to eliminate the U.S. from the 2016 Rio Olympics.
